Home Learning : Finding a New Website

So, the teachers asked us to find a new website and share what it's about, and I did exactly that!
This Website is called BrickLink. BrickLink is a place were you can buy and sell Lego to others globally. I have used it once or twice and have discovered that the bricks can be new, or used which would cost less. They have brick catalogs that can be sorted by specific color or piece category. There is a wide variety of stores and pieces to choose from! on the site, you can even find a page just for MOC (Model of Own Creation) build kits to purchase. So if your looking for more Lego pieces, head to BrickLink.com to empty your wallet of all your money! If you have any questions, please comment them down bellow.

How To Make a Felt Donut!

Hello fellow Bloggers!
I'm back with another exciting post from YMS Rimu Class!
Today's Blog Post is going to be about How to make a Felt Donut!

It's just a simple task of cutting lots of felt.
You will need :
2x Brown Felt.
1x Pink Felt.
3x Random Colors of Felt.
Stuffing.
And 1,000,000 IQ.

First, you cut the two Brown Felt pieces into squares.
Then, cut the squares into circles.
Do the same with the Pink Felt.
Make sure to add squiggles.
Next, Cut up pieces of random Felt scraps into small rectangles.
It should look like this so far.

Now obviously I did mine already but lay it out like this.
Next, sew the Felt pieces on the pink.
They will act as sprinkles.
Once all of the sprinkles are on, sew the frosting to the Brown Felt.
Once sewn, add stuffing and sew the other half on.
Then your Donut should look like previously shown.
I gave mine to my cat, Charlie.
If you have any problems or questions, comment down below.
It doesn't have to be pink frosting either.
Well, that's all I have to say for now!

SKI TRIP!!!

Last week, on Friday the 20th, Rimu Class went to MT Hutt! The Whole entire class went skiing! MT Hutt is only the best place for skiing on several different skill levels. Skiing is one of the most active sports in the world! Fun Fact, the first recorded downhill skiing race was held in Sweden, in 1879! Anyway, we had to be in two different buses and had to drive for 1 ¹/₂ hours! We then had to wear boots that were soooo uncomfortable that you had to walk sideways down stairs! Here are some pictures. :

Invention or Discovery : Home Learning

Have you ever thought about math, no not about doing math I mean if it's a Discovery or an Invention. I never have until today. I made a drawing about what I think and other people. I asked Toby and he said it was an Invention. However, when I asked Mrs Taylor she said discovery. I said Discovery because a person probably started playing with some pens and was like,"Now there are two pens." Here is my drawing.

Darth Vader's Day Off

Hello fellow Bloggers!
I'm back with another exciting post from YMS Rimu Class!
Today's Blog Post is going to be about our Writing Topic, Darth Vader's Day Off!

In Rimu, we have to write about Darth Vader's Day Off.
This is what I have written.

3/9/1607

Dear Diary,

Today is my Day Off. It is the only chance where I don’t have to do anything for once! I think I might have a nice relaxing Me Time in the spa while I get my cape dry-cleaned and after that, I think I’ll get a slushy from Hoth. It's going to be the best day of my life! That is if I can’t manage to kill Luke Skywalker. I can’t believe that I have gotten a Day Off!

3/9/1607 - (30 minutes later)

Dear Diary,

I couldn’t bare waiting for my Cape to be dry-cleaned so I just went and got a Slushy from Hoth. Mmmm, Damn those slushies are good! So instead of me being in the spa with no refreshments, I brought in my slushy with me! And the guy running it was like ‘Sorry sir, but consumables aren’t allowed inside the spas.’ And so I used the force on him!

3/9/1607 - (An hour later)

Dear Diary,

As I was flying back to the Dry-cleaner, I noticed one of my old pals walking down the street and guess who it was! It was SnowTrooper! Anyway, I was entering inside the Dry-cleaner and noticed that my cape was wrinkled all along the sides of the cape! I was Absolutely Furious! So I had to fly all the way to the cape store and bought a couple extras for emergencies only.

3/9/1607 - (Two hours later)

Dear Diary,

Well, I had such a busy day today! I think I might have a bit of me time and binge watch the Golden Girls for a bit. You know, why don’t I have more days off like this. Then I can repeat the whole day all over again! So long Work Life!

Well, that's all for now! T.J, Out!

Math is Cool : Home Learning

Do you know how to teach your Parents? That's what I'm here to do! I taught my Father how to Round Decimals to the Nearest 10 or 100. First, I told him that if it's 1 - 4, it gets rounded down to 0. But if it is from 5 - 9, it gets rounded to the nearest tenth or hundred. Then, I gave him an example.
"If you had a number say, 12.34, you would round to 12. But if it was 12.56, you round it to 13." The only challenge I had was the fact my Dad knows everything about Math! If you have any questions about this post, please leave some feedback. Well, That's All I have to say for now! T.J, Out!

A Trip In The Tardis : Home Learning

If you were to take a trip in Dr. Who's Tardis, where and when would you go? Would you go to the future to see upcoming changes, or the past to fix up some bad mistakes? That's what I'm here to talk about. Hmmmm. That's actually a good question. Well, I would go back to when I had $300 and buy a different Lego set. Then I might go to when Trump and Hillary became candidates and vote for Clinton. That's what I would do. But the question is, what would YOU do? I'm interested to know about what you would do so please leave some feedback on this post. Well, That's all for now! T.J, Out!

How to order Decimals

Hello fellow Bloggers!
I'm back with another exciting post from YMS Rimu Class!
Today's Blog Post is going to be about How to order Decimals.

This week in Rimu, we are learning how to order Decimals.
Ordering Decimals is when you have a number, for example :
1.234 and then have others like 1.357 and 1.123,
What you do is. Huh? That's actually a pretty smart idea!
Actually why don't I just give you a video to save some time 'eh?

I hope you understand it a bit more now. Anyway, like I said before,
get some random numbers like 1.234 and then have others like 1.357 and 1.123.
Next, examine them and put them in the correct order.
1.123, 1.234, 1.357. See? It's simple! Now what I want you to do is
make up your own ordering of numbers.
Well, if you have any questions, please comment them down bellow.

EPro8 Competition

Hello fellow Bloggers!
I'm back with another exciting post from YMS Rimu Class!
Today's Blog Post is going to be about our EPro8 Competition!

For those of you who don't know what EPro8 is, It's a competition where you build a challenge to score points and has to work properly. You have to follow the instructions or you don't get the points.

Everyone got a ball that we opened and had our selected challenge inside. We seemed to be the only team that had a different challenge from everyone else.

We had to make a rat wheel.

At the end, we had hands so grey, that they looked like we had shaded them in with a pencil.
We came last. Overall it was really fun! If you have any questions, please give me some feedback.

8 Home Learning Post

8 is the answer. but what is the question? That's what i'm here to figure out today. There are multiple ways of this being you answer. like : 4 + 4 = 8. But that's too plain. Think outside the box.

16/2 = 8
800/100 = 8
80/10 = 8
40/5 = 8
800 - 792 = 8
4000000/500000 = 8

Those are all I can think of. Bye!

The CBS Has Finished

Hello fellow Bloggers!
I'm back with another exciting post from YMS Rimu Class!
Today's Blog Post is going to be about the future CBS planning!

As you might have noticed from the titles, that the CBS is gone! It came, like a shooting star, and went. Gone! But it's far from over yet! I have got a year to try and make a really cool plan for next year.
What I have thought is that we make a car themed table next year. Sorry what was that? Oh yeah! Right, here are the photos from that show :

We had to go through 18 batteries and yet the train still died! It was supposed to go up a hill over a bridge and down through the mountain.
I saved up all of my own money to buy this set.
This was probably the best year so far because I got to meet new people and see a couple of friends.
If YOU saw me there, please leave some feedback on this post. That's all for now,

Home Learning : Book Report

My Book Report :

Name : Goosebumps MOST WANTED A Nightmare On Clown Street.

Author : R.L. Stine

Summary : A boy named Ray Gordon receives an invitation from his uncle Theo, to stay with him for the summer. At first, everything seemed fine and he was excited, but as the days passed, things got strange. After a series of events, it seemed that someone didn't want him there. People getting blamed for what they didn't do, lead to people getting banished to a place of punishment and fear. While trying to escape, they meet friends and all work together and overcome their fear. Eventually they succeed in escaping and everyone was free from this horrible nightmare.

I thought this horror filled book was really interesting because, eventually the tables start to turn to reveal this book's dark side. It definitely was in my list of good books so far, and went differently from how I expected. I would recommend this book if you were into twists and turns.

Lego Information

Hello fellow Bloggers!
I'm back with another exciting post from YMS Rimu Class!
Today's Blog Post is going to be about some LEGO Information!

Did you know that if you have 6 2x4 Lego bricks, you can make over 100 different combinations!
The 2x4 LEGO brick is the most common LEGO piece that it's actually the LEGO logo.

LEGO bricks are available in 53 different colors. 19 billion LEGO elements are produced every year. 2.16 million LEGO elements are molded every hour, or 36,000 per minute. More than 400 billion LEGO bricks have been produced since 1949. Which in fact I have a video about how it started.

Amazing right? It's so much progress they have made from just being a wood miller to a full grown factory producing 36,000 bricks per minute. but now with technology, everything is way different.
That's all I have to say for now. Please leave a comment down below.
