Darth Vader's Day Off

Hello fellow Bloggers!
I'm back with another exciting post from YMS Rimu Class!
Today's Blog Post is going to be about our Writing Topic, Darth Vader's Day Off!

In Rimu, we have to write about Darth Vader's Day Off.
This is what I have written.

3/9/1607

Dear Diary,

Today is my Day Off. It is the only chance where I don’t have to do anything for once! I think I might have a nice relaxing Me Time in the spa while I get my cape dry-cleaned and after that, I think I’ll get a slushy from Hoth. It's going to be the best day of my life! That is if I can’t manage to kill Luke Skywalker. I can’t believe that I have gotten a Day Off!

3/9/1607 - (30 minutes later)

Dear Diary,

I couldn’t bare waiting for my Cape to be dry-cleaned so I just went and got a Slushy from Hoth. Mmmm, Damn those slushies are good! So instead of me being in the spa with no refreshments, I brought in my slushy with me! And the guy running it was like ‘Sorry sir, but consumables aren’t allowed inside the spas.’ And so I used the force on him!

3/9/1607 - (An hour later)

Dear Diary,

As I was flying back to the Dry-cleaner, I noticed one of my old pals walking down the street and guess who it was! It was SnowTrooper! Anyway, I was entering inside the Dry-cleaner and noticed that my cape was wrinkled all along the sides of the cape! I was Absolutely Furious! So I had to fly all the way to the cape store and bought a couple extras for emergencies only.

3/9/1607 - (Two hours later)

Dear Diary,

Well, I had such a busy day today! I think I might have a bit of me time and binge watch the Golden Girls for a bit. You know, why don’t I have more days off like this. Then I can repeat the whole day all over again! So long Work Life!

Well, that's all for now! T.J, Out!

My published Autobiography

This week in Rimu, we have been writing our own Autobiographies. An Autobiography is a story about the author's life and what's happened to them. So that's what i'm blogging about.
Here it is :

Autobiographies are based on a timeline from when you were first born to the now. You also mention your future dreams and wishes. If you liked this then please give me some feedback and try your own. See you next time!

My 480 Word Narrative Pre Test

Today in Rimu, we had to write a Narrative for a Pre Test. First, we had to write a draft of our Narrative, Then we had to proofread and edit the draft. In my case, adding more writing. After that, we then had to publish it not once, but twice. 1 of which is a real publishing, and the second we had to add pictures to the writing. Here is my second publish.

Speech Competition

This week in Rimu class, we have been working hard on our Speeches. We have all been super co-operative towards our work. Here is my speech >
All though I didn't get through, I still had fun writing. It also seems that this year is just global warming all the way. If interested, you should probably join Greenpeace to prevent things like this happening.
Please give me some feedback on what you think about my speech.

Non Chronological Report.

In Rimu class for the last 2 weeks we have been learning about Non Chronological Reports. I have learnt how to write a non fictoin story. it was dificult at the first Non Chronological Report because I didn`t know how to write in third person but after 2 terms I can write more than 250 words.

Here is my writing.

The shoe trial.

Introduction

This shoe is a sneaker designed for running. 46 children at YMS school tested these shoes for a month
to receive some information on the slick design.

Style

The style of this shoe is to look good out in public but comfortable on the inside of the shoe. It has a
feature to keep the toe of the shoe stiff to prevent the shoe from tearing apart. This feature is important
because it helps the frame of the shoe stay strong and long lasting.

Materials

The shoe is made of a leather rim around the shoe to prevent the inside from getting damp. It is also
made of a soft rubbery material to make the shoe flexible with the soul of the shoe glued to the bottom.
Price

This shoe will cost from about $6-$17 in any range of size. The comparison of this shoe towards nike is
that it is a shoe that will last for over 3 years. The difference from children shoes and adult shoes is that
adult shoes are that the souls of the shoe is more stiff than the child shoes which are to support the child
stability of walking/running.

Conclusion

Over all this is a sports shoe that supports children's feet and come with a hiking grips on the bottom of
the shoe to give more resistance on wet grass. This is a great slick design as well to show off to all your
friends in your neighbourhood and buy one get one 50% off. Limited stock only so hurry now!

The Fun Filled Holidays

during the holidays the most exiting thing happened! read to find out what it was. ('b')
what do you think I could improve?

The Fun Filled Holidays

One damp & dark morning I opened my weary eyes, blinked for a second & glanced at my mum with the lights shining in my eyes.”Are you ready?’’ Said mum.”For what.” I said. “For the Lego show.” said mum. So I jumped out of bed, got dressed & ate breakfast. (15-25 mins later) We arrived at Horncastle arena. Sitting in parking lot was a black DODGE RAM with a red stripe up the middle of it. We were volunteers for the Minecraft area. I was so excited that I couldn't stop talking in the car. When we got inside, we had to put a yellow shirt on. The of it back says “Ask us for help” It didn’t fit me because I wear a size 10 & it was a size 14. Soon enough we were inside the stadium. The we were given was the gaming area when we chose the Minecraft area. The game that we had to monitor was lego dimensions. When we got to the gaming area, there was a kid building the set for the game. He looked as if he was a 12y old. Kids started to flood in before he was even done the set. When he was done I went to investigate the box. It includes: The Simpsons,

Ghostbusters, Lego movie, lego Batman movie, the Wizard of Oz & others that I can’t remember the names of. A lady came over & tallked to me & mum about what to do. We had to time each sesion for 5 mins. Kids could play again but only if they went to the back of the line. Parents could play to witch I thought was a funny rule. It was 11 o’clook & a man in a green shirt came to us & asked us our names. When we did he said to us “So you’re Letisha & Teegan.” Then he told us to follow him to the Minecraft area. “They have the warm conner of this place.” Said mum. We had to ask people qustions & they would be able to put 2 briks on the table.

I have been learning to write a narrative about the museum.

Night at the museum
By : Teegan ducharme

“Oh my god!” Said Sonic as we walked into the museum`s glamorous doorway. On the left was a corridor with an AMBUSH OF MOAS! Sonic screaming Ahhhhhh! As he was bouncing around the walls of the pitch black corridor. Everyone was staring at  him. When he stopped Sonic said “What?” Me whispering to Sonic “The Moas.” “Oh. Ahhhhhhhhh!” said Sonic “Fue we're safe.” I Said in relief “Do you think we lost them Sonic?” (Didn't get to finish sentence). “Ye...Ahhhhhhh!” “Maybe not!” Me saying as I was risking my life“RUN FOR THE EXIT! I will hold them back,GO! NOW!” there was a Moa blocking the exit. “We're Trapped!” Said Sonic. “What tragedy.” Sonic dabed at the vents. He shouted. “The vents!” “Great idea Sonic.” So me and Sonic climbed through the vents out to the back of the museum and just underneath   are feet were cops. Me and Sonic had to climb back through the vents to the roof and got into a helicopter and then flew away into the velvet orange sky. TO BE CONTINUED...
