Myself Summed Up In A Photo Collage

Hello Fellow Bloggers!

Rimu was given a task to create a collage
about what we like and our personalities!
Where your from, what you like...
A whole bunch of stuff like that!

We also learned about copyright and what to do!
Here is a link to Miss Morgan's Site with the slide on copyright.
We used a site called unsplash to get uncopyrighted pics.
Using unsplash, you can give credit to the owners of the pics.
I used some of their photos and made a pretty cool collage!

It looked a little something like this,

It was a really fun task to do and you could try as well!
It consists of your Name, Age, a Selfie, Fav Color, ect.
What would your collage look like?

Making House Art!

Hello Fellow Bloggers!
This post is going to be about Making House Art!
I'm sure your school has houses or teams
In the colors of, Red, Yellow, Green and Blue.
In YMS, it's Rutherford, Ormsby, Edgar and Hillary

What House Art is is when we, as a school have to
make bubble like shapes with patterns using the colors of your house.
For example, Ormsby/Yellow, would use Yellows, Oranges, and Gold.
So, how do we draw these you wonder? Take this slide as inspiration.

These are all made on rocks with paint but we used paper and felts or pencils.
If you have any questions about making House Art,
then feel free to ask me.
I would like to hear about some of yours!

Newsela

Hello Fellow Bloggers!
For reading we have been using Newsela.
Some of you might already have heard of it,
It's basically a test that you have to complete on a random subject.

Last week, we did an article about Hairless Cats.
Did you know that they have an 8% increase of body heat than others?
All of the articles come from the NYTimes.
You should go check it out! They have the most popular stories!

Anyway, Hairless cat's. What was I saying again?
That's right. They may not look as cute and playful as others,
but they are the most social cats in the world.
This particular breed of cats first started in Canada.

It was when a mother had a litter of 9 kittens.
One of which was hairless. It's genes were different to most cats.
Genes are what make the body form in it's looks.
Adopting a hairless cat is, let's say it's not that cheap,
as most people charge over $1300 to adopt one!

Their bodys aren't slimy to the touch but allow for downsides.
Here is a picture of what they look like.

They don't look that cuddly do they?
Their skin is like a magnet to dirt and dust,
making them irratated and itch at the skin.
I personally would rather have a Birman Seal Point.

What cat would you consider owning?
I would love to hear what your suggestions are!
I hope you learned something new!
