Student Sumit
Last week in Rimu, I got chosen for the Student Sumit. Student Sumit is a time where a lot of schools go to Hornby High to teach others how to use and make stuff on certain websites. I was chosen to be the leader of 1 of the groups that will be there! 1st time I've done this but hopefully I'll see all of my friends from my other school, Wigram Primary School. I think we've got some pretty cool websites. Please give me some feedback on what this is about. Wish me luck!

Hi Teegan,
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty exciting news. Last year I had the privilege of taking a group to the Student Summit. It was such a great day. I think you will really enjoy teaching others something and also learning something from others.
What is your group going to be teaching?

Kia Ora Teegan, we did something like this a while back. Our one is named Student Led Toolkits. We created things on websites just like you explained. I never got to be the leader though. I learnt about how to use green screens, tour builder and scratch. It was really fun! Next time you could post it after you went so I can see some pictures of what it was like. If you wanna check out my blog it is; http://wpsbenl.blogspot.co.nz/
